Other Life
The sculpture brings a central idea which is that of reconstruction. The mother with a child represents a new life, but not in the sense that it generates a new life, but rather that she, the mother, deconstructs different conceptions and then acquires new knowledge in this new cycle. This moment reflects a lot on everyone’s life, because several times, we need to rebuild ourselves, give up things that give us the feeling of joy or not and seek, for ourselves, a meaning for life that are in accordance with what we believe in fact and not just what they show us to be the correct one.
The phoenix has a very intense meaning whic is reborn from the ashes of themselves. Using this metaphor for the real life, it becomes very significant, because sometimes we need to go through situations that take us to the lowest level of energy to rebuild ourselves. Not necessarily living in complex situations is bad, if we learn to see the plan in its entirety and seek a new life, then the real change will come.
The Ethereum symbol symbolizes this new opportunity, as something that would go a long way and, perhaps, with more obstacles, became possible in fact. The decentralized market and the opportunity for the artist to own all the right over his own work to be able to put it on the market and value it as he believes it should be, is an incredible change and a unique opportunity.
In a simple way, the tree represents life that sustains the other elements of the piece, in addition to its branches representing the infinite possibilities of changes. The river that is inserted in the tree comes to tell us about the flow of life, which is both light and strong, calm and turbulent.
Finally, another life is not death itself, but real change and we will live several other lives until our last breath.
